Blog
Folks,
We wanted to send out a single email with updates so as to limit your inbox. Below please find three topics for your consideration.
First, on March 19, our second winter session will be completed. We have sought out the input from a cross section of our parents in all sports. The consensus of feedback is that, although summer season is approaching, our athletes and families would like to continue training.
Therefore, Tier 1 is proud to announce the “Back to Form” Spring Training Program. All athletes will train twice per week with training available Monday through Thursday. Attached find the master schedule of classes.
The goal of this program is to continue building on the winter sessions with a couple of added features. We will be adding greater cardio training with the intent of helping every player recover his/her heart rate. After walking up and down hills, a golfer only has a short period to regain their resting heart rate before hitting the next shot. We will also be increasing flexibility training to reduce soft tissue injuries and fully prepare players make the most of every shot. This program will be six weeks beginning March 28 and finishing May 5th.
The cost of this session is $199. We have lowered the price to encourage continued training. We are also asking those families that have participated to help us build our awareness. If you have enjoyed training at Tier 1, please spread the word. $199 is a great price for anyone unsure as to the benefits of training or not convinced their player will enjoy the experience.
Second, we wanted to make you aware of remaining make up dates for the winter session. We will have make-ups on both Friday and Saturday each of the next two weeks. If you have missed a session, please join us for one or more of the sessions. We want all of our athletes to get the complete training they registered for so please join us the next couple of weeks. If you have any question, please let Don know.
Finally, we wanted to provide some introductory information on our Summer Extravaganza. Summer is our biggest time of year for sports other than golf. In speaking with our current golfers, they wish to continue training in season but would like to train in the morning. Therefore, we will be offering both morning and evening classes this summer. Athletes can train in the morning and play all afternoon and evening. More information will be coming out in the next two weeks.
