Golf requires a combination of specific core competencies to compete at a high level. While every workout will be different to encourage muscle confusion, golfers need advanced training in the following areas:

  • Leg and Hip Power
  • Core Stability and Strength
  • Torso Torque
  • Upper Body Control and Flexibility
  • Hand-Eye Coordination
  • Ground Up Balance
  • Nutrition Program

Working with Mike Carbray and Dan Sheldon, PGA Professionals. Tier 1 has developed two programs for the advancement of athletic golf performance. High School athletes will be exposed to greater weight/resistance exercise to maximize strength. Younger players will use predominantly body weight resistance to develop strength without the risk of overuse or stress. All of our participants can expect to hit the golf ball father, with better control and less risk of injury during the long summer/fall golf season.
