Tier 1 has developed a proven system for developing elite level volleyball players. Areas of
concentration include:

  • Lower Body Power for Jumping and Diving
  • Hand Eye Coordination for All Ball Skills
  • Shoulder, Elbow and Wrist Strength for Hits
  • Rotational Core Strength for Balance and Full Body Control
  • Knee and Ankle Flexibility for Injury Limitation
  • Landing Skills for Injury Prevention
  • Cardio Conditioning for Match Length Performance
  • Nutritional Program
  • Medical Oversight
  • Mental Toughness and Preparation

Tier 1 Athletic Performance programs are designed to develop athletes for competition in their
specific sport and for overall athleticism. Program includes medical oversight and nutritional
requirements. Participants will train two to three times weekly for a six-week session to build
the foundation for volleyball performance and athletic proficiency.

The program’s goal is to produce a highly conditioned athlete with more power and agility and
full range of motion flexibility. Tier 1 has developed a system to limit injuries while
strengthening repetitive motion muscles. Tier 1 provides flexibility in scheduling and evening
sessions.
